"I just learned that I actually love carrot cake because of the Courageous Carrot Cake. The flavors complement each other so powerfully. It makes this cake an EXPERIENCE. My 9 year old professed his love to Toni's Table as soon as he tried it."

Back in the day, a young woman who loved to cook, feed people and host glorious gatherings over delicious meals agreed to make a carrot cake for the wedding of her dear friends.

The young real estate manager set about making her first carrot cake and second-ever wedding cake. All 120 guests at the festive celebration raved about the carrot cake.
Courage - subconscious as it may have been - led her to the fabulous creation. Family, friends and strangers suggested she market this tasty creation.

Subconscious fear prevented her from even considering it.

Over two decades later, the owner of what eventually became the city’s hottest restaurant begged the woman, now the mother of two young children, to produce the delicious carrot cake for his budding empire.

She happily agreed; however, fear prevented her from finding the recipe; after a three-week search in her small apartment, she gave up.

The universe opened a door; embedded fear prevented her from stepping through.

Every child is born with fearlessness - over time, experiences, society and well-intended comments from well-meaning folks chip away at that natural confidence, eroding the connection we have with our essence. It requires a certain kind of courage to reconnect with our original brave selves, to express and share our natural gifts with the world.

With lots of introspection, the support of a dynamic tribe of friends and several lifetimes’ worth of experiences behind her, the now middle-age woman resolved to move past her fear of sharing her Self and her gift with the world. Committed to prioritizing the building and nurturing of her new enterprise, she now produces the bodaciously flavorful cake and shares her story.
